The Board of Directors of Merimna and all members of its staff, wish to share their infinite sorrow for the unexpected loss of Spyridoula Tsaroucha Doctor of Nursing Administrative Head of the Pediatric Palliative Care of Merimna and President of the Hellenic Society for Palliative Care of Children and Adolescents. Spyridoula’s contribution to the care of children with life-threatening illness and their families, the education of health professionals and volunteers, and the promotion of pediatric palliative care in our country, has been very, very important. She led by breaking new ground and stood out throughout her life for her Ethos, her Empathy and for her unparalleled Kindness and Humanity.
