Educational Programs

Merimna - Our Work

Another goal of Merimna is to provide specialized training for health professionals, mental health professionals, teachers and volunteers to support children and adolescents who are facing serious illness or the death of a loved one. The presentations are conducted by experienced Greek and foreign professionals, and combine theoretical, practical and experiential approaches to the topic.

The trainings takes place a) face-to-face: on the premises of Merimna with the traditional form of teaching where the simultaneous physical presence of the instructor and the trainees in the classroom is required, b) by remote e-Learning, c) by blended learning – teaching process where the method of face-to-face training and the remote method of e-learning (synchronized and/or asynchronized) are combined.
