The psychologist of the Childhood Bereavement Counseling Center in Thessaloniki, Ms. Elli Manatou, who was awarded the Myrto Nielsen Scholarship for the year 2017, participated in the 11th International Conference on Grief and Bereavement in the Modern Society. This award gave her the opportunity to present the work of Merimna as well as her own work entitled: “The Process of Understanding a Teen after Parent Suicide”. At this conference she also met eminent scientists, researchers and clinical therapists in the field, such as Worden (photo) and Neimeyer.
