The Bereavement Counseling Center of Merimna in Thessaloniki announces a new training program on “Support and Bereavement Counseling for grieving children, adolescents and families” (Part I).
Objectives:
Participants will acquire theoretical knowledge and clinical skills to assess and support children, adolescents and families experiencing a period of normal grief, as well as to apply the principles of counseling to the school community that is grieving the loss of a member.
Conditions of participation:
Psychologists, social workers and child psychiatrists who:
- Have a professional license
- Have at least three years of clinical experience or attend a postgraduate program
The number of participants is limited and selection will be made after a personal interview.
Duration: September 2023 to January 2024
Days: Friday 18:00-21:00 and Saturday 10:00-17:00
Total hours: 50 hours
Participants will receive a certificate of attendance if they attend the entire training program.
Cost: EUR 600 (EUR 200 in advance – the remaining amount until February 2022).
Training delivery method: The meetings will take place at the headquarters of the Thessaloniki Counselling Centre, 13 Fragon Street, 7th floor.
