The closure of 2018 brought with it a new activity for the Friend of Merimna, a series of talks by distinguished speakers
Our very first speaker was made by the assistant lecturer of History in the University of Athens Mrs. Maria Efthimiou at Benaki Museum on the topic “1821-1827: Multiple readings of the two sieges of an emblematic city: Athens”.
We would like to thank the speaker for this enlightening lesson on history.
